Make the World A Safer Place
Our mission—to make the world a safer place—drives everything we do. Binary Defense is proud to be the shield that guards against attacks that could shut down major enterprises or leak millions of pieces of sensitive data. Everyone on our team knows what’s at stake, so we fight hard every day to make the world a safer place.
Binary Defense was founded by Dave Kennedy, a former Fortune 1000 CISO who saw a need for improved security services after experiencing poor quality monitoring, detection, and response services from vendors in the space. Like many security leaders, he lacked the internal resources required to run a comprehensive security program. He turned to third-party vendors to solve these challenges, but couldn’t find one that could provide the visibility, flexibility, and partnership he needed to be certain his organization was protected. He realized there had to be a better way.
Kennedy started Binary Defense to be the cybersecurity partner he needed as a CSO. From day one, he built a company obsessed with making the world a safer place, and defined by an unbreakable commitment to transparency and partnership. By building strong relationships and an intimate understanding of each company’s security needs, Binary Defense offers personal, collaborative protection that ensures our clients are protected from threats. It’s this unique fusion of the attacker’s mindset and the visibility a defender needs that makes Binary Defense the partner people trust.
