The Graphic / Web Designer position requires a highly creative person who can provide innovative solutions as well as demonstrate a quick and thorough understanding of project objectives and translate them in a meaningful way through visual language. A successful candidate will use visual storytelling to educate and build awareness. This role will develop a deep understanding of the Binary Defense message and solutions and will be able to communicate their impact and value in both marketing collateral as well as the web. The position requires a person who can take ownership, is deadline oriented, highly responsive, and is able to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment. A great sense of style, aesthetics, and creativity matched by a desire to problem solve and communicate strategic messages are critical. The Graphic / Web Designer will build and manage all visual touch points that support brand consistency across all communication and marketing channels. The role will closely collaborate with the Segment Marketing team to craft the content roadmap and marketing activities across segments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Be adventurous and have a passion for the business. Think creatively and critically to support the strategy and development of content marketing assets – Concepts and develops ideas into visually compelling marketing materials
  2. Design and develop marketing materials such as: advertising, sales collateral, brochures, case studies, white papers and direct mail pieces (etc)
  3. Design, develop and maintain compelling website content, landing page, digital campaign assets and emails
  4. Establishes the purpose of the website based upon its target audience and business need
  5. Identifies the type of content the site will host and gives guidance and direction on layout, colors and styles
  6. Take direction and develop projects with minimal oversight as well as work well within the team
  7. By using various tools, analyze and report on marketing metrics and implement suggested improvements
  8. Work with outside agencies as necessary to partner on campaign deliverables
  9. Reviews and approves creative materials prior to launch – Proofs marketing materials as well as tests QA code, including cross-browser and cross-platform displays and performance.
  10. Familiarity building and working within corporate branding and identity guidelines – Responsible for the overall visual aspects of advertising, media campaigns, website

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND CORE COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or similar
  • 3+ years of corporate or agency design experience
  • Superior creative, design, typographic, and website development skills
  • Knowledge of current advertising, web development technologies and design trends and tools
  • Independently manage multiple projects from concept to completion – Accountability, personal initiative, and integrity
  • Ability to take ownership, set priorities, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Well-developed problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail
  • Experience in designing integrated marketing campaigns in a B2B environment
  • High proficiency in WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Familiarity with online publishing best practices, social media platforms, CRM tools (Salesforce) and marketing automation systems (HubSpot)
  • Performs any other essential function that may occur as directed

 

Preferred qualifications:

Video/editing experience a plus

SEO / PPC development experience a plus

B2B design experience in one of the following areas a plus: IT, Information Security or Cyber, SaaS Software
