More members of Anonymous jumped in on supporting the OpIcarus/DeleteTheElite campaigns yesterday as more attacks were launched. Both the Vatican and the Bank for International Settlements were hit with DDoS attacks again yesterday afternoon. Along with those two organizations, two websites for the Rothschild family were attacked and taken offline as well. Anonymous has still not named any direct targets for this phase of the operation but their current activities would indicate that they are focusing heavily on the “DeleteTheElite” aspect of the campaign.
Analyst Notes
While this does not negate the risk to financial institutions around the world, it does mean that financial institutions tied to the Rothschild family are more likely to be targeted.
