Aeronautical giant Airbus has recently discovered a breach in their system which led to unauthorized parties accessing employee information. The company assured that none of their commercial operations were affected. Information such as employee contact details and IT identification details were accessed.

“Investigations are ongoing to understand if any specific data was targeted, however, we do know some personal data was accessed. This is mostly professional contact and IT identification details of some Airbus employees in Europe,” said Airbus in a statement.

Investigations are ongoing, and they’ve begun taking precautionary measures to keep an incident from this like happening again. It is unclear how many employees were affected and how the attackers were able to breach the system, but more information should be released as the investigation continues.
