Friday, a member of Anonymous who goes by the moniker Anon CatRedel, began making a number of posts online to encourage cyber-attacks in the name of OpCatalonia. This propaganda continued throughout the weekend and was intermixed with a number of other posts both in support of Catalonia and against the Spanish government. Attacks on the Spanish government began this morning in the name of OpCatalonia with an attack on the Spanish Ministry of Justice by a user named Anonymous_Cat. As the one-year anniversary of the suppressed Catalonia independence vote nears later this week, attacks on the Spanish government will likely continue.
