The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has released the Ransomware Readiness Assessment (RRA), a new module for its Cyber Security Evaluation Tool (CSET). The RRA is a self-assessment that allows organizations to better understand if they are properly equipped to defend against and respond to a ransomware attack. CISA stated that the tool is intended to help an organization by building a foundation to improve upon. The tool helps organizations evaluate their cybersecurity posture. It also provides an analysis dashboard that provides the assessment results.
