A hacker going by the unique moniker “aabbccddeefg” stole approximately $222,000 from EOSBet Dice. EOS Bet Dice is run by the EOSBet Casino which allows users to gamble via the EOS Blockchain system. The hacker discovered a security flaw which allowed him to send false payment receipts to the system through the “Fair Dice” game within the system. EOSBet Casino has confirmed the hackers claims and has taken Fair Dice offline while they work to fix the security flaw. So far, the hacker has made few attempts to transfer the stolen Ethereum to launder or hide the funds.
