Israel has pledged to give support and training to Nigerian security forces and industries. The training is currently scheduled to take place from November 12-25 of this year and will focus on cyber-security as well as homeland security. Many African nations have fallen behind the times with cyber-security/defense and are in dire need of training and support. Israel has already started working with African nations when they began working with Kenyan companies in all aspects of technology. While this training is only scheduled to last for a couple of days, the hope is that it will grow into a greater partnership and will work towards combatting cyber-crimes within Nigeria.
