A newly discovered group, named White Company, has been found to be behind an attack on the Pakistani Air Force. According to researchers the group is likely sponsored by a nation state somewhere in the middle east, however their tactics match up more with those of U.S. intelligence community personnel. This has many people wondering if a group of former U.S. intelligence personnel have turned mercenary for a foreign power. The group was found to be utilizing compromised servers in various locations for an extended period of time which they used to launch spear phishing campaigns.
