U.S. Department of Justice Indicts More Chinese Spies

The U.S. Department of Justice announced yesterday that they would be indicting more Chinese spies and hackers who have been tied to attacks on companies in the aerospace industry.  This announcement follows closely on the heels of the surprising and unprecedented arrest and extradition of Chinese spy Yanjun Xu who was arrested in Belgium.  Some are questioning if this new round of indictments comes from information gathered during the interrogation of Yanjun Xu.  It is still uncertain whether any arrests will be made following these indictments.

Analyst Notes

It is likely that following the arrests and extradition of Xu that the Chinese government will work quickly to get each of the hackers and spies named in the indictment back to China where they can safeguard them.
