Windows 10 1809 Gets the Update it has Needed

Update KB4469342 has been released to combat the issues that 1809 has caused since being released in October. The update has bumped 1809 to build number 17763.168 and has addressed the bug that was causing the prevention of mapped drives reconnecting. Cisco will also release an update today that addresses the issue that was reported yesterday involving the malware shield. Not all issues have been solved with this update though, such as the bug that’s breaking the Seek Bar in the Media Player. We should see a fix for this issue in December. The update can be made through Windows Update or manually by the Update Catalog.

Analyst Notes

Users should update the issues as soon as possible. Although it will not fix all the issues, it will help users who are running Windows 10 1809 use it more efficiently. Be on the lookout for more issues to arise and wait for Microsoft to let users know how they are going to handle it.
