Nova Media Company Discloses Data Breach

An Australian Radio station company announced to its users that they have publicly disclosed user information. Users from 2009-2011 were affected, with the type of information stolen changing from user to user. The information ranged from physical addresses, dates of birth, usernames, and hashed passwords. The company made it clear that identification card copies and payment information were not disclosed. The company is working with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and other professionals to find out how many people have accessed the information.
