A user claiming to be part of AnonGhost has leaked the information for a significant number of Facebook accounts. Some of the accounts had their credentials posted in the dump, others had links to their accounts listed in the dump only. Many of the accounts had been inactive since they were taken over and posts were made by members of AnonGhost to the compromised accounts, which took place back in 2014. Whether this dump was actually posted by a member of AnonGhost or by another user who chose to re-share the dump remains to be seen at this time. With the return of many of the core members of AnonGhost to the AnonGhost name following their stint working with ISIS.
Analyst Notes
It is possible that this dump was reposted by a lower level member of AnonGhost or by a supporter of AnonGhost who wished to try and draw some attention back to the group’s capabilities.
